Worth the price
Power loss and surges, I use on the desktop computer and living room TV. The price is reasonable and there is no setup. Just plug into an electrical outlet and then plug the computer, TV, etc. into the four-battery supported and surge protected outlets. The other four outlets are only surge protected. Standard charge time is eight hours for the battery to be fully operational. Can watch TV or use the computer until the battery is drained if you choose to do so. Works well and have been using for many, many years.

Tried a Practical Test and it Passed with Flying Colors
The CyberPower ST625U (625VA/360W) just arrived a few days ago and I charged it up to full with nothing plugged in. My intention was to use it for my network cabinet to keep my network, internet and security running in case of a power outage. I decided to test out two things. First, would it really perform as if it was uninterrupted and second how long would it last.So I plugged it in and connected my WIFI router, 16 port network switch, cable modem, and security NVR (but not the monitor) to the battery backup slots. The NVR is supporting 1 hard disk and 8 cameras. On different outlets I set my Roku tv to be playing video on demand over the net and I used my PC to login to the NVR so that I was viewing the security feeds. Lastly, I begun an internet speed check. Then, I simply pulled the plug on the UPS.Everything continued running seamlessly. My security feed kept running on my PC. The Roku video kept playing, and the speed check finished without any issue. That answered my question about it being uninterrupted. The unit ran for just about exactly half an hour before it started doing the fast beeping indicating that it was running low on power. That's when I plugged it back in.Obviously I can't speak to the life of the UPS but out of the box it is doing just what I hoped it would.

Great working machine
Power was disruptive during storms but it worked like a charm. No noise forgot it was there and easy set up

So far so good.
Usually I buy APS brand but my last two models have gone dead far too quickly and are as expensive to replace the battery in as it is to just buy a new one. A friend of mine recommended this brand after I mentioned needing a new UPS and I figured that I'd give it a shot.I've already heard it click into use numerous times while I work on my pc. Since I work from home and my house has trash electrical wiring, it’s necessary for me to have a backup power source in case my desktop pc is on when an outage happens (and they happen pretty much daily here)So far I've had this guy since December and it’s mid feb when I write this and it’s working perfectly. I suspect any issues will occur (if they do) between 6 months and a year from when I bought it, and since I write reviews all the time I WILL come back and edit my review if this unit fails me for some reason. But 2 months in and 20 or so outages so far and it’s been a dream. So far I tentatively love my new UPS.

Works with Synology NAS
The media could not be loaded. Works with Synology NAS. I have two Synology NAS devices and I connected this via USB to the primary one. I set it up as a USB UPS and it was recognized correctly. I then enabled the Network UPS Server and it was seen by the secondary NAS as well. I couldn't have asked for a more seamless installation. It is showing 100% charged and an estimated 29 minutes of backup time.Physical info for the UPS. It has nice compact size, it has an access panel on the bottom for replacement of the battery, and it has 4 battery backed up ports and 4 surge protected ports. As always, the orientation of the plugs will never be exactly what you want them to be. Search for "Power Brick Extender" and you will get packs of short extension cords. Don't search for "Short Extension Cord" I didn't get as many results. <sigh>I replaced my antique power strip that is probably yellow from overheating with the new backup. I'm ready for Summer Thunderstorms!! Oh, The Amazon Basics UPS is made by CyberPower, however, I got this one because it comes with a 3-YEAR WARRANTY – INCLUDING THE BATTERY; $100,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee, the Amazon Basics does not.

A Sound Invetsment! Great Price and Quality!
Great UPS for a good price! I have very expensive computers and this was a sound investment for me. I bought two! One for my Windows station and one for my Mac station!
