Lemax75291 Santa's Wonderland Lighted Buildings: The Elf Workshop

I decided to start a Christmas village display. I ordered a few items from Amazon and when everything arrived broken, I turned to the more expensive Lemax and Dept 56 after doing some reading on the subject.I picked the Elf workshop just for the pure look and joy of this piece. Although it has no working parts (which for me is a plus), the workshop exudes life, joy and energy. It is very colourful and I liked the way it showed the elves mid task.It measures 7.32 x 6.46 x 5.12 inches. It is made of poly-resin. It works with AA batteries and can be used with an adapter (does not come with one). I loved its shape and size. Some of the buildings I looked at looked great on the front, but looked plain on the other sides. This one is very detailed.On the down side the figures are not as well painted as they could be, but I can fix that. The window is also a little crooked but it adds to the charm.Finally, this came in a Styrofoam package with a Velcro belt around it. The other items I ordered from Amazon (the broken ones I returned) had obviously been opened and returned repeatedly. The Styrofoam around the Lemax Elf workshop was pristine and SOLID, much better quality Styrofoam and the Styrofoam also had the number of the item on the box to help you store the houses in the right box. SO I was impressed with the presentation.Very happy (delighted) with my purchase.

Just arrived today. This piece is so cute and so well made! it's my first Lemax piece and the quality is awesome! I wish I had known I had to order an AC adapter separately so I'm using batteries until my adapter arrives - it's cuter than it even looks online.

My cute little house from Lemax came missing a plug. The vendor made it right and was very responsive to my questions.

Gave the piece as a XMAS gift for an ever growing Christmas Village and they loved it. Lights were just icing on the cake.

The Elf House is so cute. I started my Granddaughter with her own collection of Lemax this year and she loved the Elf House. This is one you will want in your collection.

I like it but it is much smaller than the description or size stated in the picture. It is about the same size as the Clause cottage. Others have also stated it is smaller than the described so you would think that someone would change it on the page. Good thing I did my research and knew it was small before I ordered it. I should not have to go offsite to view their description I should be able to trust the one that’s posted here

Looked very cute. Just like the picture.

I love the village piece but you can’t even tell that it’s on. Just didn’t feel like sending it back.
