This is an efficacious well formulated product. It wears well throughout the day providing superior long wearing protection from the sun. I have very fair Irish skin. It does leave a white cast but it works well under makeup and is easy to disguise for lighter skin tones. The complaint it is hard to remove from the skin is misguided. You want a sunscreen to be hard to remove. That goes to its durability. It comes off with make up remover. It is resistant to sweat, water and movement. The high concentration of ZnO and TiO2 in a weightless watery milky consistency provides the best of both worlds. An elegant formulation with superior protection. Not for everyone but if you have very fair skin and need good sun protection, the R&D in the product is unmatched. Please ask Shiseido when this sunscreen will be back on the market.

I used to use Shiseido sunscreen a decade or so ago, and they used to work GREAT--very high zinc oxide percentage and no white cast. It protected my skin well and kept my skin from being damaged and darkening from daily sun exposure from being out and about.I like this newer version because it doesn't contain a lot of common ingredients that irritate my skin. It also has one of the highest zinc oxide percentages. I typically apply my sunscreen really thick and allow it to absorb and then rub in the remainder. However, with this, sunscreen it's very difficult to rub in after it dries. So I'll have to figure out how to adjust the application.I will keep using it because I value sun protection. I hope that Shiseido does not discontinue this formulation like they discontinued their older formulations.

This is a very small bottle, but it works well. I have very fair skin and get burned very easily. I went to the Bahamas in July. Put this sunscreen on and had minimal burning (only a little on my shoulders) after consistently being in the sun for a week. And that’s probably just because I forget to reapply. The sunscreen does not feel thick or oily, and it does not have the typical “sunscreen” smell. I totally recommend this!

I love this sunscreen so much. It helps my skin not get sunburned, keeps it hydrated. Overall the best sunscreen I've ever had, and now it's gone. I hope they bring it back in stock soon. (I used my husbands account to post this.)

I can't say enough about this sunscreen. I have wasted so much money on sunscreen trying to find one that will work with my sensitivity AND oily skin. This goes on smoothly and evenly. It feels light and does NOT leave a greasy residue. I can re apply several times throughout the day without feeling heavy build up. This will be my #1 summer skin care product.

Product makes your skin SO white. I bought this because I did extensive research into sunscreen for my faces, as I’d like to start using it daily under my makeup. Two things people said was it didn’t tint your skin too much, and it acted almost as a primer and would hold your makeup in place. Both were completely false. My face is easily 4 shades lighter with this, and no matter how little I use (suggested was two fingers, I’ve even tried just a few dots) it still won’t blend. And when I put makeup on top, it becomes a splotchy mess in just a few hours. Don’t listen to people on the internet

Great product but leaves a white shade

I am a garden designer in the Deep South, where the sun is very strong; and I am fair-complected, so I really need a sunscreen that works. Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion Wetforce Spf 50 for Sensitive Skin is the absolute best. It has no scent, does not run into my eyes when I sweat, and leaves my skin velvety soft. It also does not cause acne breakouts, which I am prone to with other sunscreens. The only caveats are that 1) it does have somewhat of a whitening effect, which I accept because physical blockers are the most reliable and I don't want to mess around with skin cancer; and 2) you need to use a facecloth to scrub the sunscreen off at the end of the day. But once you emerge freshly scrubbed from the shower, your skin feels magnificent -- and untouched by the sun's harmful rays.

No me gustó, al momento de aplicarlo te queda el rostro blanco, aun que te apliques poca cantidad. Se sentía muy pesado en el rostro.

Will just use this as a body sunscreen as it leaves a horrible white cast on face and you have to really rub your skin and hope it blends (which only helps a little). Pro though is that there’s no irritation at all

It does a good job protecting skin

I love that the cream was easy to apply and didn't feel greasy or heavy.
