Don't listen to the reviews concerning the picture quality. It's a TV show from the 90s, it's not going to be high definition in the first place. I found the picture quality comparable to all 90s sitcoms on DVD that haven't been cleaned up.This was a great deal so I'm not too worried about the packaging itself. If you're wanting better cases, I would suggest buying the seasons individually.It's ironic, I grew up in the 90s but never watched Wings, Cheers, and Frasier at the time, but now these shows are me and my wife's favorite sitcoms. All 3 shows take place in the same world and there's character crossover. The reason I even gave this show a chance is because of its connection to Frasier and Cheers. It took several episodes to get into it, but once I started watching, I couldn't stop. And they introduce new reoccurring characters later in the series that are hilarious.This is the type of show that can be watched over and over again, yet not get tedious. I highly recommend especially if you're a fan of Cheers and/or Frasier.

Written/directed by much of the same talent that did Cheers and Frasier, Wings is a solid comedy that ran for 8 entertaining seasons. Starred a very good cast of competent and memorable actors/characters and still holds up as a very enjoyable binge-worthy series today, as I recently binged through it in a few months in 2023. Solid performances and writing for typically light comedic topics typical of sit coms. Wings is definitely one of the better comedies of the era or all-time. Solid 4, perhaps even 5 stars.

UPDATE: I initially rated the Mill Creek release in the cardboard sleeves and flimsy box as a 1 star. Since then I have found that changing the resolution setting on my 4k player from Auto to 2160 has cleared up most of the objectional pixelation and blur. I don't know why that helped but it did. Perhaps changing the setting on the player switched the upscaling from my tv to the player? I replaced the flimsy packaging with generic DVD cases. They are available from 1 disk to 12 disks per case. I cut up the box and used the artwork to decorate the generic cases.ORIGINAL: Mill Creek came out with a bunch of box sets. Almost all are very poor quality. Not just the packaging which consists of cardboard sleeves in a flimsy box. I can replace those with generic cases. But they cram too many episodes on each disk which lowers the bitrate. Low bitrate means low quality picture. Avoid these from Mill Creek. I bought 3 different series, Wings, Community and 30 Rock. Streaming versions are better than the DVDs! All 3 box sets are poor quality. DO NOT BUY THESE!!!!

Because if you did and you didn't catch this show, you're missing out. The dvd set comes with all the episodes, a half season on each side. This is where Tony Shaloub got his beginning and it's in the Universe of both Cheers & Fraser. Hope you take a chance on it if you haven't seen it before, if you have, know finding it online is almost impossible past season 4, even here on Prime. Just get the dvd set.

"Wings" shows New England in all its simplicity, splendor, and lack. This amazing series actually took the story completely from beginning to end (very RARE for a series). They wrapped up all loose ends, and you felt satisfied when it was over. I know a lot of people will have a problem with the lack of diversity in the show's cast, but if you've ever been to New England, you know that this is accurate. New England isn't terribly diverse; but don't worry, New England, on the whole, still holds very strongly to the "democrat"ic side of issues. In addition, once you've watched the entire series, it's great for playing just to help with that middle-of-the-night insomnia because it's so comforting in its simple storyline. I love it!!!
