Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this over the other because of the stand. I take this out to record meetings and I love that it looks more professional then just laying it on the table

Basically a good recorder. Speaker is a bit small and sounds a little tinny, but headphones good!
I basically like to record talks, meeting parts, etc for review. Also at times need to record off FM radio. It works well and if you listen on an amplified speaker or headphones, it sounds good. Little bit of a learning curve, but doable. I'm older so it is harder. If I was a kid, it would be easy.

Works Great...even when the default Languages changed on me!
Caution! Do not plug an unauthorized "dongle" into or hook it up with because it can change LANGUAGES on you to one you dont understand. It took a long while for me to figure out there's NO reset pin hole BUT if you put an AUDIO cable into the LINE IN it eventually goes back to the default language settings. That said....It would be nice if the place to type your number for tech support to call you would actually work. We all could use a comprehensive manual, techie guys!!

Volume on recorder
I disliked about the recorder was that the volume was real low it only went up to 31 or so and sounded like 15 volume . I used it for recording discourses and the quality was really good. As for the FM recording it worked real good only when your reception was good.

Intuitive and easy to use
Came nicely packaged, battery life is decent, the microphone is sensitive enough to hear quiet things, and it's interface is pretty intuitive and easy to figure out. I recommend this for pretty much all of your field recording needs. The radio and mp3 player is a nice touch too.

Worth every penny
Love that it’s a rechargeable battery.. which it holds a good charge. Sound is clear. Definitely worth getting
