Fregula Sarda, Imported from Sardinia

Love the texture. Served it as addendum to cooked spinach; also used as a substitute for rice with a stir-fry.

This pasta is so good! I make the blue zone Mediterranean minestrone and use this as the pasta ingredient and am so glad I found it bc it is so tasty and satisfying!! I am going to incorporate it into other dishes. It’s toasted and so hearty. Just buy it. You’ll see.

Saw a recipe and wanted to try it. Delivery was fine and item was as advertised. However, it wasn’t my favorite pasta so I won’t be ordering it again.

I bought this pasta from Amazon as I can not find it in the Italian market where I buy my groceries. It cooks well and works perfectly for my recipe. I add it to sauted onion, garlic, zucchini, corn and pecorino cheese. Can be made ahead of time and served at room temperature. Delicious!

I have never had fragola pasta before. I bought it to put in my minestrone soup. It was very tasty and perfect size for soup.

There was definitely something wrong with this pasta. Used it to make a sardinian soup recipe using all quality ingredients. It ruined everything. It smelled really bad and never softened up the way pasta should. Some of the pasta turned black in the soup which I don't quite understand. The expiration date said 12/5/26 but there was definitely something wrong with it! Expensive and no way to return. Thanks Amazon...Will definitely think twice before purchasing food again
