Not a huge fan of the packaging, but great quality product.
Let me get this part out; I hate the packaging. Just not a fan as I can’t fold the bags as I do with other products in the P-Tech world.Outside that, great product. You may have to screen a bit to pull clumps or some bigger particle sizes, but for anyone making B/P this is pretty pure. You probably are good without even boiling. Kills the “Tech grade” stuff on the P-Tech market. Try boiling a small batch, as you should with any BP you acquire. Super easy to compare the residual here vs competition and with a decent price. Everyone knows what you end up paying for similar products and how little you get. I’m impressed. Love their Sulfur and air float as well. Their online store has some good products. Glad to see it here.

Great Stump Killer
Works great as a stump buster. Drilled holes into a 3' diameter stump and poured in the powder - 4 months later it was easily removed.

stuff works to rot stumps if you can wait a few years
I have a stump less than 6' from my house in an inside corner where the store room joins the utility room. All that to say that it was too close for a stump chipper. The stump was from a 70' red oak that I had cut down because it was too close to the house. I had it cut down ten years ago . A year ago it hadn't rotted out, so I put this stuff on it and it is half gone. Now I need to get the rest out of there. Then eventually I will have a huge hole to fill. Oh well. The never ending story. I didn't have enough to do two much smaller stumps in from from Bradford Pears. Beautiful trees, but derecho bait. I ordered another bag just now. Great stuff. Oh up above it asked me to rate it for sheerness and thickness. Got no idea what they mean, but if they mean granual size it was not dust but pretty fine.

It's saltpeter, KNO3 what I mean? Many uses around the house.
Sodium nitrate and potassium nitrate are both frequently used for similar purposes, potassium nitrate has the main advantage of being less hygroscopic, so it won't absorb water from the air as much.Resealable bag doesn't reseal all that well, but fortunately it hasn't caked up from absorbing moisture so far. Some common household uses for potassium nitrate include:* Fertilizer* Curing meats* Stump removal (speeds up decay process)* Home-made pyrotechnics, such as low quality gunpowder, smoke bombs, model rocket fuel* Sprinkle a litttle on your toothpaste instead of buying expensive toothpaste for sensitive teeth (same active incredient)* Cleaning oxidation from aluminum* Making a cooling compress* Sprinkle on firewood to give flames a light purple color

Good deal.
Nice big bag . More than four pounds. It can be used to feed plants or to over feed and kill them. In my area some places get overrun with multiflora rose. It's like living concertina wire. I've been fighting some on my property for several years and I started using potassium nitrate to overdose them with nitrogen and screw up their system. It seems to be working so far. My theory is , if you gradually get way too much of it in their root system, the chemistry gets so out of balance that they can't absorb nutrients. I won't really know if it has been truly successful until next summer. For now, they look as dead as door nails. I don't want to use hormone disrupting herbicides if I can help it.

Tree stump decomposed
Purchased this to dispose of some old tree stumps, drilled a few holes in each and filled with this powder. The powder was finely ground with a few clumps. I can already tell the tree stumps are decomposing the stuff works great

Planted Aquarium Fert
So much cheaper than buying that premixed stuff for your planted tank. If you have any mind at all you will never buy that premixed stuff they are peddling out there
