This bassinet was PERFECT for us! When we found out we were pregnant with our second the one thing I knew I wanted to replace from our first baby was the bassinet. We have a fairly tall bed and our first bassinet was simple, nothing fancy and short compared to our bed - I didn’t think I needed anything extravagant for a place they will only sleep in for a few months. Well, I ended up having a c section and for the first few weeks I had to have my husband come over and pick up our baby out of the bassinet every time he needed to be fed because I could not bend over and lift him up myself because our original bassinet was so much lower than the bed. This bassinet was one of the very few on the market that was tall enough to be the same height as our bed and it made a world of a difference with our second. I also love that it has wheels! It made it easy to move from one side of the bed to the other or to roll into the bathroom for a safe place for her to lay while I shower/get ready. Our baby is now sleeping soundly in her crib but we have moved this convertible bassinet to the basement to use as a changing table. The bassinet is also very sturdy. We have a toddler who loved to come see the baby every morning and he would hang on the side to peer over to look at her and the bassinet never budged. Although pricy, I believe we have already got our moneys worth out of this product and i am VERY happy with the purchase. The ONLY negative was that the vibrating feature wasn’t very strong and ran out of batteries fairly quickly.

I was initially overwhelmed by the many bassinet options available, but I’m so grateful I chose this one. The quality is outstanding, with a sturdy build and a firm, supportive mattress. However, you can buy the vibration attachment from CHICCO's website for $38, which still made it way cheaper than the other model.**Update the vibration add on stops working within 2 weeks. I had chicco send me a replacement and it also stopped working within 2 weeks. The SE chicco bassinet is great, it's easy to maneuver. Our toddler will shake it and hang on the sides briefly before we redirect her and it does not tip or become unsafe. The legs do stickout and can cause you to stub your toe. I wouldn't buy this bassinet if you have a super small space as it does take up a good amount of floorspace. **

As a first time mom, there were a few things that I was looking for in a bassinet. Number 1 was obviously safety/sturdiness, which when looking in stores I didn’t really see with the displays. I felt most were very wobbly, especially ones that were height adjustable and had the ability to lower the sides. That is not the case with this one, it is very solid!Another function I was looking for was the ability to have it bed side. The height adjustments are great! It goes quite high, which makes it easy to slide to the bed AND change diapers while standing up and not killing your back (which was function #3 I wanted)Only complaint I have is the functionality of the attachment that plays music, has a light and vibrates. The vibration isn’t really worth the extra cost of this version of the bassinet.

My wife got this for our third baby due in July. She wanted something close to her while she slept (scheduled csection so will be recovering from surgery) but something that could roll easily away if she needed to get out of bed. This is perfect. She was thrilled when she saw it out of box. It is much larger than expected. And very sturdy, but the cushion seems soft and comfortable (and still flat/firm enough to be safe for a newborn). It raises to different height levels, I am surprised at how high this raises. We shouldn’t have an issue bringing it up next to our bed. And the best part there is a quiet easy to use lock Handle that unlocks and locks the wheels. It glides easily on our carpet in our bedroom. It fits through doorways, and every part is removable and washable in the washing machine. Baby is safe in there until 20 lbs and/or can sit up, so we are hoping to get a lot of use out of it, especially those first few months. Only complaint is we could not order directly from chicco website and use chicco $50 coupon, as they were out of stock. But this is a chicco stocking issue, not worth removing a star. The product is well worth the money. We are very happy with our purchase and hope our baby will find it easy to sleep in as well!

I wish I had bought this for my first baby! This is the best bassinet. The competition over the bed bassinet everyone is buying right now is flimsy; in comparison, this is sturdy, will last through multiple babies, has an easily adjustable height, and rolls around like a dream. The hand brake is easy to set when needed and my baby sleeps well in it. Would highly recommend this bassinet and I can't believe more websites and bloggers aren't recommending this one over all the others - I guess they haven't discovered it yet! This is well worth the money.
