There is virtually no waste. I have refilled mine a couple of times - isn't easy to get apart, but possible.

It dispenses a small amount; not sure exactly how much as I've not measured it.

Q: Do airless bottles dispense straight oils well, or are they better for cream type products? I'm looking for a bottle for my oil cleanser.

I use these bottles quite a but for packaging liquids as well as creams. they are great. the only thing that I have found is that whatever the bottle is dispensing can get stuck inside the top part of the pump over time and it is hard to clean out. So i would encourage their use for oil.
