One word: Excellent!
I have compared this with internal cross overs of my speakers and the Ashly is far superior.I have two way pro speakers.Two are Electrovoice T251 and one is a SLS T114.When I switched over to the Ashly, the sound became much more clean and clear.=; Crisp and detailed.You need to spend some time, selecting cross over frequencies - best to check with speaker manufacturer.Their Equalizer works fine.This unit gives you full control - gain, cross over, equalization.I have not tried any other brand of speaker processors; hence have no idea whether or not there are better units/brands.If you have compared the Ashly with another brand and found a better brand at a lower price, please post a reply here. I would like to know.I bought the Ashly 4.8 first. I liked it and I didn't want to waste my time, trying out other brands. Therefore, I bought this 3.6 also.Protea software is easy to use.. No need to read any manuals. You can use the software, intuitively.
