Great heavy duty compliment to your deadbolt. These brackets are easy to install and allow you to put a 2 x 4 crossbar on your door for extra security. You may need heavier and longer screws depending on the type of door frame you have. If you are really worried thats not enough then you can buy a second set of brackets for a top and bottom installation. Good price for that extra security they offer.

These are fantastic for securing doors that have no locking mechanism. Easier than adding a deadbolt... easy to install and only seconds needed to drop a 2x4 board into them. Instant security. Even an otherwise flimsy door, like on our barn, becomes strong and impenetrable with these installed top, middle and bottom. A++A++

Good quality heavy duty brackets
