Handy for late night jogging or dog waking
The media could not be loaded. This large beanie with detachable flashlight is sir handy for those early morning walks, late night dog walks, or for the more adventurous folk who often find themselves half-way up a mountain or deep in a forest when the sun starts to go down! The light itself is removeable/detachable, and just requires being pushed out from front to back (can't fall out while wearing), and is charged by simply plugging it into just about any powered USB A ('regular' USB) port, which is WAY easier than fumbling around with a cable!

Does the job perfect
I bought this for my Dad who used to live in a flat cap. He's toasty warm and the light is a bonus. Great

Cosy, comfortable and warm
This beanie hat has exceeded my expectations. It is very soft, stretchy and comfortable, with a lovely fleece lining. The light easily fits into its slot and does not take long to charge in a USB port.I regularly walk my dogs in the dark in an unlit park, and it can be very difficult to locate them, get their leads on and pick up their business using the torch on my phone. I had been considering buying a helmet light to strap around my head, but this beanie hat fulfils the same function and is therefore ideal for colder nights as its design effectively provides a hands-free torch. The light can easily be switched off or dimmed at a press of the button in the middle. Alternatively, the light can simply be left out when it isn’t required.I think this hat is perfect for walking in the dark, cycling, or for any other activity where a hands-free torch is needed. I can think of a number of people for whom it will be a perfect gift!

Comfortable, and a light.
This beanie presents in dark colours grey and black interwoven knitware, which results in a more interesting pattern than in ought, grey scale with texture, and then a chequer board pattern. If i was really pretentious I'd say it was synergy, but that's not my hat. There's a soft lining which for a chap with a shaved head is a nice thing, and even if you had hair I'm sure it's very nice.So these things in and of themselves make a good beanie, but wait there's more. and to be fair it is hardly hard to miss.A torch in a beanie is a good idea, cold weather and dark mornings and nights go hand in hand. There is then however two problems. How do you power the torch. And how do you wash a hat with electrical dooberrys in it.The design here neatly addresses both as the torch, which is surprisingly bright for its compact size presses out of plastic retaining clip. It charges using a USB socket. And meanwhile - if your hat has reached the point of needing laundering, you can.Function is a centre switch with varying brightness to off. To be honest I prefer a binary on off, but that's a minor quibble. In conclusion a great beanie.

Great for men or women!
I ordered this hat for my husband who is a runner (when running he wear this hat it is too hot as it is fleece lined) but he also goes for morning and evening walks quite often and we live in the countryside where there are zero streetlights! From October to. Arch he almost permanently has an indentation of a forehead light on his head so I though this might help reduce this!As you can see from the photo the hat fits me fine and it also fits his rather massive head too! On him it is much more snug with less slouch but he says it feels ok and he says it is very useful for doing odd jobs round the house, even now like putting the bins out once the sun has gone down. The light is easily recharged which is great that it doesn’t need batteries, you just plug it into a usb plug. And it has 3 different light settings you can choose from. We would recommend.

Light life
The beany hat itself was warm and well made but as a night angler the LED light life was very disappointing. On a full charge the light lasted about 4 hours after that I couldn’t see to re bait or adjust my terminal tackle. This was turning on and off as well. Disappointing.

Affordable practical personal safety equipment.
My hat arrived in record time. It is black and has grey detailing intermittently throughout the design and chunky wool knit. Feels great! The torch is powerful. I use this to walk my large rescue pups. It is great for safety on the less than stellar pathways and I can see where to Pick Up in the dark ( regardless of whether they went by a street light / long grass or not ). I'm physically disabled. So found this hat useful maneuvering my wheelchair in darker and more poorly kept streets / areas, also. You can do light to moderate activity in it, without losing the LED lighting at all. No wires shorting. I cannot speak for High Impact activities like Running, Sprinting, Water Sports, Rock Climbing etc. I cannot see why this LED lighted hat will not work with these, though. Within reason. The seams are strong and the light has been stiched and placed into the fabric well. I will be buying my son's and daughter one of these for the winter months.

This is more man sized, great product
This is the second type of hat in this led built in light style I am reviewing. Just like the other it works perfectly, has a lovely cosy lining and will be ideal if you live in a rural setting where street lighting is limited and you might want to walk the dog for that final night time walk etc. This one has a thicker lining and a thicker knit style than the other hat I have reviewed. I feel this one is more of a man's hat. It is taller and wider. So if you have a small head the other one on my reviews would be better for you. If you have a medium to large head then this one is probably better, it feels more capable of stretching to fit. These would make great presents for out door workers, dog walkers.
