Works just fine. No worries!
I've to date ordered two of these sticks from this seller for my Japan import PSV-2000, and both work great. I have VitaTester installed, so I can see the raw input data of analog stick movement. The right fidgets slightly when idle, but not nearly enough to cause involuntary actions during play (it's barely noticeable). The left has far less idle movement (even less noticeable), but is positioned to motion ever-so-slightly to the left. It's not an issue in most games, but in high precision titles like Super Stardust Delta or Metal Gear Solid 3, I could have issues. Luckily, these issues can be circumvented through the use of the "AnalogsEnhancer" "AutoPlugin II" plugin by Rinnegatamante/Yoti, which allows me to increase the deadzone of both sticks individually so that the unwanted movement isn't detected (It's like "skipping over" all stick movement up to and just beyond the 'part' where your involuntary movement issue exists). Doesn't absolve the seller of responsibility, but I'd sooner blame shipping than the manufacturer. These sticks are miles ahead of the default sticks that came with this model. All in all, I would buy from them again, and I encourage others to do the same! :)

Better X-Y resistance--No rubber grips
Bought this to replace my PSV 2000 stock thumbstick. Easy installation without any issues. I have since put in about 15 hours of Dragon Quest Builders (a very thumbstick-intensive game). Here are some thoughts to consider:- This thumbstick does not have a rubber cover, so when playing, you will definitely notice a plastic feel on your thumb. However, I feel that this particular thumbstick has a bit more resistance than the original, which is always a plus in my book. Simple solution would be to put a thin replacement grip over it if you end up finding the plastic feel to be unbearable (which I personally have yet to experience).- I also think that the actual plastic itself lies a bit on the thinner side when compared to the original. It feels sturdy enough to not break with moderate usage and care, but its durability over the long haul is questionable. Given its fair price, I see myself doubling down on it sometime for future needs.- I did not experience any ghost movements during my 15 hours. The sensitivity of the thumbstick is improved over the original by the aforementioned added resistance.Overall, this is a good purchase if you are in the market for a solid replacement thumbstick (if you're reading this, you are likely a fellow victim of the infamous PSV ghost movements problem anyways). I recommend this product!

Works and fits in my PSV 2000 -but hard plastic joystick with no rubber & will need a cap.
The joystick worked immediately with no mechanical issues. It replaced my original psv joystick with "ghosting" problems. The form factor fits my ps vita 2000. The screw holes are in the right place. The ribbon is long enough to be a left or right joystick. Its also thin enough for the psv slim model. This joystick is hard plastic and has no rubber surface. It needs a cap to enjoy game play like the psv original joystick. Its a good replacement for the price. (Cosmetically - doesn't look or feel like the original joystick but its the same size, top diameter & total height.)

Works great
I have had a vita for several years. Tje left joystick had started to drift and it made playing some games impossible. This was perfect and much more affordable than buying a whole new system. Took about 30 minutes to do thanks to YouTube videos. I would buy again.

Came in defective
One worked fine. The other, however, refused to not drift. I bought them because my sticks were drifting. It's a shame that one of the ones I bought just came in already drifting after a fresh install. Shame.

Relatively easy to install with a video for reference, but certainly not OEM
With the right size screw driver and a plastic spudger to separate the two parts of the outer plastic shell, along with a video or two for reference, you can replace the old analog stick(s) fairly easily. It's obvious that these aren't original Sony parts if you look at the photos, but they do work. There's a little more resistance when you move the stick (feedback, maybe) and the texture and thickness of the stick leaves ample room for improvement; it's not a comfortable analog stick to use compared to the original. If you don't want to wait for an opportunity to find an original analog stick on Ebay, these will work without any issue. I replaced mine with one of these because the original analog stick had started to drift, but I l've since found real OEM ones on sale on Ebay for a similar price. They may not have been brand new, but I bought two so I have a backup, and so far, the Ebay OEM one I installed is fine (no drift). Your next best bet would be salvaging from older units if you can't find any online sellers for originals. The original feels much better to use, albeit providing the same input to your device.

Great replacement stick
Works just as I hoped, needed to replace my right analog stick in my Vita which was a fairly simple process. Only "complaint" is I wish the stuck itself had some kind of grip on top, but I got some thumb grips anyway so it's a non-issue. Packaged very safely, would recommend to anyone needing a replacement.

Good replacements
They do fine. The flat part your thumbs rest on isn't rubber and it's a bit thinner than oem but you don't really notice. They function well. Got rid of the dreaded ghost drift. Swapped both out.
