Q: does it come with a case ?

No it does not come with a case but it should come with a health warning. Don't buy it its badly engineered crap basically. Spend a little bit more and get something that's fit for the job. I sent mine back the next day.

as I stated I received this item and as a 30 year skilled professional I was astounded at how unsafe and inferior the build quality was.With ZERO response from Einhell all I can say in reply is you buy this brand at serious risk to your health and safety. My experienced and professional opinion is obviously DON'T BUY EINHELL if you value your safety. I cannot recall the blade widththat was least of my worries once I had the item in front of me with super thin power lead but sheathing for far heavier duty cable.

Q: What size of replacement belt do i need

If you still have the packaging it will tell you the size of belt drive, if no packaging, take old belt and machine to your local Toolstation, those guys are very helpful and carry most spare parts in stock or for next day delivery. Regards Andrew

Q: is this planer fully compliant with uk standards

Can't find specific reference to "British Standards". However, the planer is CE marked and the handbook contains a declaration of conformity to EU directives and norms; specifically 2006/95/EC, 2006/42/EC, 2004/108EC and 98/37/EC. Hope this is of some assistance.
