DAXINYANG R500 Spray Gun LVLP with 1.3/1.5/1.7/2.0mm Nozzles, Air Flow Control Valve&Paint Filters,Paint Guns Automotive Spray Gun for Painting House,Car,Furniture,Varnish and Top Coat

I bought this along with a 2.0mm nozzle so I could spray my kitchen cabinets.In addition I also bought the 3M 26003 PPS 2.0, S2c 16mm female,1.5mm adapter for the 3M 26301 PP2.0 22oz spray gun cup, lids and liners kit with the 125 micron filter. Those are not cheap but make the spraying experience a LOT easier. Also a $10 water/air separator, so you don't get spots in your finish.Of course you need an air compressor to make it all happen. I ended up getting a Kobalt 26 gal quiet tech 4.5 cfm @ 90 psi for $380 from Lowes.Using the R500 was easy and it comes with instructions. I was able to use primer and SW emerald urethane satin enamel straight, without having to thin it. I took out the plastic inline filter from the spray gun because it wasn't necessary.Overall I'm very impressed with the results that I was able to get! Make sure that you use a respirator and if you're spraying inside a cabinet use a piece of cardboard to cover your respirator to protect from the blowback. Otherwise your respirator will get clogged very quickly.

This paint gun looks, feels & operates like a high-quality tool. Controls were smooth to operate & allowed precise adjustments to spray pattern & volume, making it easy to lay down a uniform coat of paint or clear coat. The variety of nozzles is an added bonus. My first full-car driveway paint job came out pretty nice.

I observed a minor issue with the product I received – there was an unusual white substance on both the paint inlet joint and the air adjustment knob. While it might be some form of thread lock or sealer, the application is inconsistent, and traces of it even extend to the air inlet body. This was weird because this unit is designed for complete disassembly, making the presence of thread lock or sealant somewhat odd. It's possible that it's either a case of poor application of thread lube/lock, gunk left over from manufacturing, or potentially contaminated metal. Those issues didn't affect the overall quality of the gun, but it bothered me as I expected pristine and clean.UPDATE (10/26/23): After engaging with the vendor, I'm pleased to report a positive resolution. They sent me a complete replacement kit, and I found the replacement unit noticeably cleaner and more in line with my expectations. After putting it to the test, I'm happy to report that it performs excellently, with all the components working as intended and a high quality spray pattern. It's worth noting that the kit I purchased also includes four (4) nozzles, representing a very good value.I've noticed that multiple vendors offer a re-packaged R500 gun. I must commend the vendor, DAXINYANG, for their exceptional customer service. They have truly impressed me with their high level of assistance, showing responsiveness, friendliness, and support throughout. For their top-notch customer service and follow-up, DAXINYANG certainly deserves a full 5-star rating.To that end, I've updated my review and improved the star rating. This gun sprays base and clear great, having shot a truck hood and roof and an Escape fender. 30 Gallon 3 HP Craftsman compressor providing air. Did not over exert the compressor in the least.Used PPG Shopline and highly recommend that too.A little orange peel, but that was due to being a bit rusty with a paint gun.For the DIYer looking for a great gun at a great price, this is it.

This thing did a great job but not a heavy duty gun I did a my truck bed and you can see little stuff but way better and cheaper the a cheep body shop probably gives the cheap place a slap in th face but you don’t have a Ferrari

The media could not be loaded. I have a 25 gallon compressor so I needed a low-volume low pressure gun this one painted like a dream. It didn’t overwork the compressor and it put out plenty of material on the parts. If you were do it yourself or on a beginner this is perfect. I was spraying primer with it. It comes with multiple nozzles, but the 1.4 and this one was sufficient.

Now the reason I normally this spray gun was it came with 3 different fluid caps and a regulator and the gun is metal not aluminum. Unread all the reviews on this gun and since I used to own a Sharpe Platinum version morning and beat that gun unfortunately mine broke this one looks good and it sprays very well from unrthan to oil base paints also tri color and pearl pants it gets the job done and looks good the gun is very comfortable in your hand the size is perfect and I must say that the gun is machines very well and it's easy to disassemble and reassemble and all the functions work just like they should I means the price you can't go wrong no orange peel no runs or drips nice quick gun to paint almost anything with except clear coat I noticed a couple of rough panels after using this to clear coat a car door . Nowy Sharpe was way over $800 dollars and this gun did a pretty remarkable job I was impressed with it. So yes but this gun you won't be disappointed

This pain then works really well with many different materials I had used it with a thick epoxy primer and it sprayed perfectly with the 1.8 into my no tip they come with it it also has a variety of finer tips for clear coat and base coat.
