Works great
Works great to connect M.2 NVM drives in hot swap enclosures. Took a bit of searching to find Slim SAS to Mini SAS cables, but once I did everything worked perfectly.

I have a TrueNAS server with 2 NVME drives that were giving me read errors occasionally. Using a Glotrend kit that included a mini-sas to u.2 cable and riser, as well as this adapter, I was able to replace them with two Intel P4510s that I expect to last the life of the serverAs for the reviewer who gave 1 star for not working with SAS or SATA: that's user error. NVME CANNOT be used to adapt to SAS or SATA drives as they are different protocols entirely.

Ineffective controller
NEW MSI motherboard with BIOS support. Did not work with either SATA or SAS drives. Not recommended. -hjp

Best M.2 to U.2 adapter on the market
High quality circuit board compared to the other units I've seen on Amazon. I have acquired a few other 10Gtek items over the years, they make good stuff.

Just simply Works
I am using this with a WD 7.68TB NVME Drive on my Proxmox Server. It works well and have had zero issues in ~1 year.

Works perfectly with FreeBSD 13
I have been running one of these without issues 24/7 for nearly a year in my FreeBSD server and have yet to see any issues.

Nice build quality
Works great if your board supports bifurcation, compared to some other low-cost NVMe adapters I have bought these seem more nicely made, would recommend.
