This weighted vest is awesome. I got the 25lb thinking it would not be that heavy but it’s a good weight to start.Fits comfortably and the straps are easily changeable to fit the size of your chest if you are smaller or wider build. They slide in and out easily and clip in without issue.For the reviewer complaining about the weak fabric must of wore it upside down or didn’t wear it at all. The “weak fabric elastic part” will sit under your armpits so it is not holding up the weight. The weight of the vest completely sits on your shoulders and is stable.I was not gonna go running with this weight vest just walking but it’s so secure I might try a jog here and there. Also great for an alternative to waist weights for dips or pull ups.Definitely gonna buy the 20lb and work my way back up to the 30lb.Phone holder is a plus.Also Off topic this thing is a great assist in stretching neck. The 25 lb is pulling down on my shoulder so as I stretch my neck left and right it is using the weight to keep my muscles stationary for an even stronger stretch.

I previously purchased a different style of weighted vest, which you can adjust the weights. I really did not like the design of that vest because, although it was designed for women, I felt like it pulled down too much on the chest and that area certainly does not need to be pulled down! Haha! I was looking for one designed like this that where I could still adjust the weights. I ran into this one, which has been made popular since a certain brand of home exercise equipment has added a few treadmill workouts with weighted vests. I was worried I wouldn't like that you can't adjust the weight, but, so far, I really like it! I got the 15 lb one and it seems just right. I often work out in the AM or mid-day and am on a sports team in the evening. It's about a mile walk to exercise class, so, I wear this on the walk too and from, and sometimes do a 30 min stair run/walk after working out, or, just walk/jog back. This is perfect because I'm not worn out, but, you do definitely know you're putting in more effort. You can jog easily or walk, or, really do whatever you want. Other reviewers say they keep this on while doing household chores, for example. It does have a smell, but, I kept it outside for a few days on my balcony after I was done exercising and now it's fine. The second day I had it, I left it overnight in my car and it didn't make my car smell or anything like that. It is just the normal smell that comes with Neoprene. I think it's a good value for this kind of product. I bought this instead of another similar one because it came with a bag for your phone, etc., but, I admit I haven't used the bag. I use my normal crossbody bag over the weighted vest, so that the crossbody bag strap isn't trapped. It's a little awkward, but, it works for the short distances I've used it so far.

I’m 4’11, 130-135lbs, and I got the 20lbs vest to wear while walking. I wouldn’t wear this weight to running but for someone who lifts 3-4x/week and runs 1-2x/week, it’s not a bad weight to start with. It’s challenge enough where I feel accomplished after using it but not in pain. I might get the 8 or 12lb vest to wear during running. I opted for this vs the adjustable vest because I hated the big branding on the adjustable vest. It had a petrol chemical smell but it’s going away after airing it out. Definitely recommend! Not sure about the long term durability but it seems well made.
