Q: How good is this as a panini press and toastie maker? Worried an all-in-one won't be great with these..

I made a Panini recently and it turned out really nice, toasted well on both sides, cheese melted nicely inside. As for grilling chicken, steak etc. It's brilliant!

Q: Can it makes toasted sandwiches?

You can ! But theres no button for that . But I saw few optigrill plus with the sandwich button
