I ordered these recently for my brother in law (second time). First time they were fine but this last time the dry ice packet was empty; product was somewhat cool but not totally frozen. There had been a couple delays so I worried about the safety of the product and pitched it! Expensive mistake!

My 83 year old mom is now about 90 pounds after a serious illness and a stint in the hospital and rehab. She has dementia, so she has trouble remembering whether or not she ate. Boost and Ensure drinks are so filling that she has no room for meals. But she desperately needs more protein! The magic cups are the perfect solution to this, as the carb count is much lower than supplement drinks. She loves the taste, especially vanilla, and they don’t fill her up. She eats a half to a full between meals twice a day. She keeps them frozen and moves a couple into the fridge every day, they thaw quickly, she likes them both thawed and frozen. And she is not uncomfortably bloated after ingesting, as she was with the drinks. Because she is actually eating these, we know how much protein she’s getting, and her weight has been increasing by two pounds a month. She seems healthier all around.

Flavorful source of protein. My husband enjoys the choice of flavors for this ice cream. Was recommended by our physician.

I got these for my elderly mother who needs to gain some weight. She likes all the flavors. They are very expensive for ice cream but I hope the extra nutrition makes them worth it.

Hoping elders needing additional nutrition would enjoy this combo of flavors, they do not. In addition, the price is high per container.
