Is it safe to be used as a cooking grill by placing a fire right under it?

This table is not bare metal. It is thin metal coated in a paint or powder coat that would likely flake or chip from high heat, and give off fumes. Do not use as a grill grate.

Do you Need to Unscrew Legs each Time when folding for Storage?

Yes. The leg extensions need to be unscrewed prior to folding it up for stow/storage.

Is table heat resistant?

The table is too short and made cheaply. I was looking for something more substantial for my patio. This was a disappointment in advertising.

Is there rust protection/coating?

Yes, the table is powder coated with rubber fixtures.
