Is it stainless steel?

It's not stainless steel. It's made out of a soft wire material. I never usted again after the first time because it broke.

What part of the product contains lead? There is no warning in the description but it’s listed on the package. This was supposed to be for my kids.

Perhaps the metal in it. These are very cheasy. Mine tore 1st use. Not. Recommended

how long is the handle?

The handle is 6 1/2" . The net is 4 1/2" long and about 3"wide.

Would it be good to catch sea shell?

works good for minnows but don't know about sea shells.
